Pricing questions
Why is the renewal price different from the registration price?
Sometimes it isn't — for many TLDs we charge the same to register and renew. Where they do differ, the renewal price reflects what the registry charges us each year. We always show both up front so you're not surprised at year two.
Are there any hidden fees?
No. The price you see is the price you pay. WHOIS privacy is free, DNS management is free, and there's no fee to update your nameservers, contact details, or to use auto-renewal.
Do you charge to transfer a domain in?
For most TLDs, transferring in costs the same as one year of registration and adds a year to your existing expiry. Some country-code TLDs have free transfers — we'll show you the price before you commit.
Can I get a refund if I change my mind?
Domain registrations are non-refundable once the registry has issued the domain (this is an industry-wide constraint). Hosting and email plans are refundable on a pro-rata basis within the first 30 days. See our refund policy for details.
Do you take cards from my country?
We accept all major credit and debit cards via Stripe, plus Apple Pay and Google Pay. We bill in USD; your bank handles currency conversion.
What happens if my card fails on auto-renewal?
We'll email you several times before expiry, retry the charge for a few days, and hold the domain in a grace period afterwards. You won't lose a domain because of a temporary card issue.
